Eden

Eden was a piece I created at the end of 2020 when I was ready to give up art. I intentionally prayed and worshipped with every brush stroke, giving my artistic abilities back to the Lord, and doing it with Him, in His power and not mine. To me this piece represents going back to the beginning, and walking with God as if there wasn’t sin that separated us. It’s a beautiful mystery that I will never grow tired of. This is the piece that was the gateway to me becoming a full-time artist!

“Eden” has been displayed at Lighthouse Coffee Bar in Midlothian, Texas (July-October 2021), and the “Beauty for Ashes Art Exhibition” (October 2021) hosted by Acts Church Creatives. I ended up selling it to the family I used to caregive for. They hung it in the room that I was in the most at their house. I am so thankful for them and their constant support.
